We are currently investigating Wells Fargo Auto Finance's practice of charging customers for collision insurance in addition to their automobile loan premium payments. Wells Fargo allegedly charges customers for this insurance, even though the customers may have personally taken out an insurance policy on the automobile. Some individuals have even complained that Wells Fargo Auto Finance continues to charge them for this insurance after Wells Fargo received proof of the customer's insurance.
